Welcome to the XK8/XKR Enthusiasts Club (XKEC for short). The XKEC brings together worldwide owners and enthusiasts of the Jaguar XK8/XKR (X100 models) produced between 1996 to 2006 and also the XK/XK-R (X150 models) produced from 2006 to the present day. We are proud to acknowledge that our international membership, which is currently represented across sixteen countries, is now the largest single model club of its kind that is dedicated solely to these models. 2003-2013 : A 10 YEAR CELEBRATION
2013 is going to be an amazing year for the XKEC as we celebrate our clubs 10th Anniversary. To commemorate the occassion we will be attending many events throughout the year including Bromley Pageant in June and our Show & Shineevent in August. We are also planning to celebrate at the 2013 Silverstone Classic in July where members will be invited to enjoy a special anniversary parade lap of the circuit.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the past 10 years and for helping us reach such a memorable milestone in the clubs history.
"SUMMER SHOW & SHINE" - 10th AUGUST 2013
We are pleased to announce that our 2nd annual Summer Show & Shine event will this year take place at the Beaulieu National Motor Museum in Hampshire on Saturday 10th August 2013. The XKEC's May 2013 E-Newsletter (kindly sponsored by Sturgess Jaguar of Leicester) has now been emailed out to all FULL members. Our May 2013 digital magazine will also be out later this month. As usual they both contain all the very latest club news and information.
XKEC ANNOUNCE 2012-13 CLUBMAN OF THE YEAR
Many congratulations to member Robert Sparey who was recently awarded the XKEC 2013 Clubman of the Year award at the clubs GROWLER 10th anniversary dinner dance on Saturday 4th May 2013.

179 XKs ARRIVE AT WARWICK CASTLE
Well our GROWLER 10th anniversary event on Saturday 4th May 2013 at Warwick Castle was a huge success with a total of 179 XKs in attendance. The weather was also very kind to us and everyone had a very enjoyable day out. Here is just a taster of the display.

LATEST BREAKFAST MEET GATHERINGS
The latest XKECs Breakfast meet (pictured above) took place at the AV8 Cafe in Kemble in Cirencster on May 11th 2013. Eleven XKs attended amongst which were some new members.
Another Breakfast meet took place (pictured above) on 27th April 2013 at the cafe at the Donington Grand Prix Museum. A number of members attended and a great breakfast was had by all.
JAGUAR'S NEW XKR-S GT IS UNVEILED IN NEW YORK

The XKR-S GT, developed by Jaguar's ETO division, is the ultimate road-going version of the XK coupe and is going to have an initial production limited to just 30 cars for the North American market
A range of bespoke carbon fibre components all help maximise the XK-s aerodynamic downforce and performance is provided by Jaguar's 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine resulting in a 0-60mph time of just 3.9 seconds, electronically limited to a top speed of 186mph.
Available in Polaris White, the warm charcoal interior comes with red accents and finished in soft-grain Warm Charcoal leather and Suedecloth. Jet Suedecloth headlining and a Jet Suedecloth steering wheel, with aluminium paddle shifters, are also fitted as standard and script to the treadplates and console highlight the cars uniqueness.
XKEC FORUM SURPASSES 209,000 POSTS
We are very pleased to announce that our forum has recently surpassed a fantastic milestone with its 209,000th message being posted. We would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who has contributed over the years.
Known as the "XK Bible" by our members the forum has become a wealth of knowledge and information that specifically relates to all Jaguar X100 / X150 models produced between 1996 to the present day. With over 23,400 topics being discussed it has not just helped many members out with problems, parts etc but it has also brought about many new friends. Well done everyone.
