Club Benefits

As part of our continuing drive to improve we are now proud to offer the following benefits to those who join up;

WELCOME PACK
A very exclusive Presentation Welcome Pack is sent out to all new members on receipt of their payment. This exclusive pack includes many important documents including the latest issue of our club’s colour quarterly magazine and a 50 minute introductory DVD.

INSURANCE DISCOUNTS
A club discounted car insurance scheme has been arranged with leading performance car insurance company Adrian Flux Insurance Services who have over 30 years experience with insuring cars. Members can qualify for up to 15% discount with proof of membership.

MEMBERS ONLY CHAT FORUM
Our exclusive member’s-only chat forum can only be accessed by authorised members with valid logins and passwords. Containing a mixture of fun and more serious technical matters the forum is a great way of seeking answers to any problems you may have or simply speaking to other members in general. There is currently over 110,000 messages posted on the forum with nearly 450 members subscribing.

HELP IMMEDIATELY AT HAND

We have a Technical Team and an Official Parts Adviser on hand to answer any queries members may have. We also have a Used Vehicle Inspection Team who help members examine purchases on their behalf allowing them to get the right car at the right price (see more below).

ANNUAL CALENDAR OF EVENTS
We provide an annual calendar of club events/tours/social gatherings etc across the whole of the UK for members and their families to come and enjoy. Although our activities are mainly UK based we have undertaken Tours of France in 2005 and 2007 and we are also planning to go to Normandy in 2009.

CLASSIFIEDS
We have a special Classifieds section on our website where anybody can seek out those wanted / unwanted XK or Jaguar related items (including cars for sale). Although this service is free to members, we do also offer this facility at a small cost to non members.

UPDATE BULLETINS
In between our quarterly magazines we provide periodic Email update Bulletins to bring members up-to-date on all club and XK8/R related matters.

DISCOUNTS
We offer members the opportunity of receiving 10% discount on all parts acquired over the counter in selected UK Jaguar dealerships and members also receive other discounts on parts supplied by many other performance related companies such as Elite & Performance Jags Ltd, DesignXKR, Paramount Performance, Adamesh etc. Again proof of membership will be required.

USED VEHICLE INSPECTION TEAM

The XKEC has established a 'Used Vehicle Inspection Team' consisting of a register of members who are willing to offer advice and assistance in respect of the purchase of used XKs.
The team are volunteers who have a broad and diverse range of experience with the XK, ranging from competence with the mechanical aspects through to the familiarity which can only be gained by many years of owning and driving the model. The prospective purchaser, having identified a particular vehicle, will contact the team accordingly to make necessary arrangements. You must be a member of this club to receive this benefit.

XKEC WARRANTY
We offer an exclusive warranty scheme for "members only" in association with WMS.

OWNERS REGISTER
An invaluable and exclusive Vehicle Owners Register which is open to all members. These specific details are retained in leather bound binders and collected for future historical purposes.

MERCHANDISE

We provide our own “Official” club merchandise including clothing, annual Calendars etc. We also have an XK8 / XKR related book ordering service for members and non members alike (members receive 10% discount). See our classified section for more in-depth details.
