4th October 2009Sandringham Estate (Norfolk)
On 4th October members of the XKEC visited Sandringham, the Norfolk retreat of Her Majesty the Queen. Surrounded by 60 acres of glorious gardens, a museum and visitor centre and of course the superb house, this was a very interesting place to visit.
In sunny but chilly weather there was plenty to see and do around the estate. Members enjoyed leisurely visits around the house and museum, followed by the usual XKEC picnic and then a guided tour of the fabulous gardens.
