Austin Powers
 Austin Powers (Mike Myers), International Man of mystery, was given a new weapon in his third film entitled “Goldmember”. The weapon – a Union Jack liveried XK8 with number plate of “Shaguar”. As a replacement to the original Jaguar E-Type shown in the first film, the XK8 once again provides that “British” appeal to the Secret Agent. Starring in the film alongside Myers are Film actors Michael Caine (who plays Austin Powers father), Nigel Powers and Beyonce from Multi-platinum group Destiny Child.Also starring in this return adventure were Michael York and Robert Wagner.
Just like Austin, the XK8 attracts plenty of attention, offering high levels of performance and fun. Jaguar said they were delighted to be able to partner Austin in his latest adventure. The film opened in the UK back on 26 July 2002. |
